04 · Fulfillment

Get the product from the factory to the job.

A wholesale price is only real once the product is on site. Sunhub moves solar equipment from factory or port to your warehouse or project by ocean, air and ground, stages stock until you need it, and keeps it all inside the deal you negotiated.

  1. 01

    Stage

Hold container-scale stock with Sunhub instead of taking it all at once.

  2. 02

    Move

Ocean, air or ground, matched to the shipment and coordinated in the deal.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Release product to the site in phases, the week the crew needs it.

Two services

We ship it for you. We store it for you.

A better price that never arrives is no price at all. Sunhub moves inventory for clients and holds it at our facility until projects need it, so a good buy turns into a project that stays on schedule.

Service 01 · Freight

We ship your inventory.

Get ground rates instantly from our carrier integration, then let Sunhub do the coordination: booking, pickup, delivery appointments, liftgate and tracking. Ocean and air are quoted by our team.

  • Instant ground rates and transit times
  • One team coordinates every leg

Service 02 · Storage

We store it on your behalf.

Keep pallets or full containers at Sunhub's facility and release them as projects reach install. See receiving, monthly storage and outbound handling up front with our storage calculator.

  • Pay per pallet, per month
  • Release in phases, to any site
  • Batteries handled with hazmat care

Missing a part? Source Center finds it, so one SKU never holds up the job.

Three ways to move product

Speed against cost, matched to the shipment.

No single freight mode is right for every order. Sunhub weighs what a delay costs against what speed costs, inside the deal, so you don't overpay to rush what could have shipped slow.

Ocean

Ocean freight

The workhorse for planned volume.

When you're buying container-scale and the delivery window has room, ocean is the lowest cost per unit by a wide margin. It feeds the warehouse and the planned pipeline, not the crew waiting on site.

Speed
Weeks
Cost per unit
Lowest
Best for
Planned bulk, replenishment
  • FCL Full container: lowest cost per unit, sealed, fewer handoffs.
  • LCL Shared container: pay for the space you use, for smaller or mixed orders.
Air

Air freight

The fast lane when a job can't wait.

Air turns weeks into days. Use it deliberately, for the short-shipped inverter, failed part, sample or fixed deadline where a stalled crew costs more than the freight.

Speed
Days
Cost per unit
Highest
Best for
Small, urgent, high-value
  • Exception, not default Sized to the one item that has to move fast, while the rest rides cheaper modes.
  • Sourced and shipped together If the gap is a stock gap, Source Center finds it and air moves it on the same thread.
Ground

Ground freight

The last leg to the job site.

Once product is in the country, ground moves it from port to warehouse and from warehouse to the site or yard, scheduled against the build so it arrives the week it's needed.

  • FTL / LTL A full trailer for pallet runs to one site, or shared space for partial loads.
  • Flatbed and specialized For bulky racking, oversized crates and heavy inverters or batteries.
01

Landed cost, not sticker price.

The listing price isn't what the product costs you. Freight, duties, port fees and the last domestic leg all land on top. Sunhub coordinates freight as part of the deal, so the cost of moving the product is visible before you commit.

  • Shipping estimates on marketplace listings
  • Freight priced into Source Center quotes
  • Lead time and delivery schedule side by side

Hold your stock. Draw it down as jobs need it.

Container-scale buying is cheaper per unit, but only if you can store what you don't need yet. Sunhub receives the container, stages it, and releases stock phase by phase against your real schedule, without tying up your yard, your cash or a lease.

  • Importers and manufacturers: hold inventory in-market and quote domestic delivery windows
  • Distributors: buy at container scale and keep working capital free
  • Installers scaling up: lock in a pipeline of jobs at wholesale pricing and pull it by phase

From the port to the site, without the stall.

The sea leg is only half the trip. Once a container lands it has to clear, leave the terminal and move inland, and that handoff is where shipments usually stall. Sunhub carries the flow past the water line, then times the road leg to the build.

  • Arrival, customs and duties coordinated with the shipment
  • Drayage scheduled, not left to chance

Bring Sunhub into the deal. Skip the vendor stack.

The old way splits a shipment across a freight broker, a customs agent, a warehouse and a trucking company. On Sunhub, a seller invites Sunhub into the deal chat, and logistics, warehousing or financing is handled with the deal context already in place.

  • One invite adds Sunhub to the thread
  • Nothing re-explained across outside providers
  • Freight, storage and terms on the same deal record

In practice: DCT Energy, a U.S. solar distributor, brings Sunhub's warehousing and financing into its deals through Sales Portal.

Questions

Fulfillment, answered.

Does Sunhub handle freight and warehousing?

Yes. Fulfillment covers ocean, air and ground freight, drayage and customs coordination, warehousing and project kitting, all connected to the same equipment deal.

Which freight mode should I use?

Ocean for planned, container-scale volume at the lowest cost per unit; air for the small, urgent shipment where a stalled crew costs more than the freight; ground for the domestic leg on almost every deal. Sunhub helps make that call inside the deal.

Can I store stock and take it in phases?

Yes. Sunhub receives and stages your order, then releases it phase by phase as projects reach install, so you buy at volume without tying up your yard or cash.

I'm an overseas manufacturer. Can I hold inventory in the U.S.?

Yes. In-market storage lets importers and manufacturers keep stock close to U.S. demand and quote domestic delivery windows instead of factory lead times.

How do I add logistics to a Sales Portal deal?

Invite Sunhub into the deal chat. Logistics, warehousing or financing is handled in the same thread, with the deal details already there.

How is storage priced?

Per pallet: a one-time receiving fee (plus unloading for containers), a monthly storage rate per pallet, and outbound handling when stock is released. Use the storage calculator for an estimate, then request a firm quote.

How do I get freight rates?

Use the freight quote. Ground rates come back from Sunhub's carrier integration, and our logistics team books and coordinates the shipment. Ocean and air are quoted by our team.

Can I use my own freight?

Yes. State your freight preference in the order or sourcing brief, whether supplier-arranged, Sunhub-coordinated or your own.

How do net terms work?

Eligible buyers can pay on NET 30, 45 or 60 terms through Sunhub's financing partner, or by card or ACH. Larger deals can use milestone escrow.

Do batteries ship differently?

Yes. Energy storage ships under rules that panels and racking don't, so plan battery freight early and confirm the fulfillment path before you commit.
